The Daylily Library functions as a space intended to preserve, amplify, and uplift the voices of an often-marginalized community. That said, it would be remiss to ignore the injustices and prejudices upheld within and by this very community, especially as they pertain to literary materials.
Much of the initial research involving historical practices and evolutions of queerness neglects or excludes BIPOC, disabled, transgender, and non-American perspectives. Likewise, many narrative works have been authored in a similar fashion. The Daylily Library acknowledges this informational disparity, and makes an active effort to include these voices within our collections wherever possible.
Our staff invites you to reach out with questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding our collection material. If there is a work you would like to see added to the Library space, a creative you would like to see featured, or if you wish to express a concern regarding our existing collection, please contact us using the following.

This collection is centered around works of a historical and research-based nature, from powerful recounts and memoirs sharing diverse perspectives and insight on queer identities of the past, to the foundations of modern queer theory.
This collection contains narrative publications and works of fiction from modern and historical authors alike, and aims to spotlight recent works by the queer women creatives of today's world.
