Welcome.
Drawing inspiration from Pacific Northwest-based collectives of queer history, such as the GLAPN (Gay & Lesbian Archives of the Pacific Northwest) and other similar institutions, The Daylily Library serves as a resource for queer women's history. Within our collections, both reference works and explorative literature are made available for access, providing patrons with a broad range of information and perspectives. Housed within our Archives is our special collection entitled 'Ephemera', which means to highlight creative contributions from figures past and present. Whether you've come looking for means of intersectional historical research, or are simply seeking modern narratives and literature, we here at The Daylily Library are thankful for your patronage.
Serving the locale of Portland, Oregon, The Daylily Library is a special library whose collections of written and visual works by queer women creatives aim to amplify an often-overlooked perspective within both general and queer history.
Here at The Daylily Library, we seek to uphold the following values:

☙ Diversity
☙ Education & Lifelong Learning
