Westminster Library

Westminster Public Library receives local funding from Orange County, the State Library grants, and public or private donations. Friends of the Westminster Public Library also provides financial support for our programs, workshops, and collection.

In order to sustainability manage our funds, we rely on two types of budgeting: line item budgeting and program budgeting. 

 Westminster public library features 12,792.4 sq. ft. of spacious open layout with convenient and dedicated areas for quiet study, group work and study rooms. Large windows provide ampule natural light alongside our diverse seating options including individual study desks, comfortable armchairs and group tables. Our technology area features 50 computers, 3 printer-scanners and a power bank station. The library features a reference, circulation and service desk and a technology desk to assist our patrons. There are 3 main service desks located on the first floor of the library as well as two digital self-serve check-out desks.

The library collection contains 150,000 volumes and circulates 56,000 annually. Westminster library features a maker-studio that is open to patron ages 14+. Equipment in the makerspace: 3D printers, laser engravers, cricut maker, sewing machines, button maker, and many more. You can learn more about our equipment by visiting our front desk.
