
The Artisan Makers Library is a special library located in Southern California.
A space for DIY enthusiasts, crafters, makers, and hobbyists of all kinds to explore, learn, and create their prospective arts and projects in an inclusive, equitable, and supportive space. We provide classes from experts, have a comprehensive print and digital collection on applied and decorative arts & crafts, as well as group meetings for various hobbies. We have various machines, tools, and prepared kits available for patrons to borrow from the library. Patrons are encouraged to bring their craft tools as well since there are a limited amount of library resources that are lent out on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Mission Statement
As a special library, the Artisan Makers Library focuses on the history and the community through fostering the creativity of arts & crafts within Southern California. As a special library, our scope is arts & crafts, hobbies, and DIY activities for the community we serve. We are open to the public but our collection is centered around arts & crafts and while most of our resources are free some require a reservation. The mission of Artisan Makers Library, a special library serving the community of Tustin, CA is to preserve and share its extraordinary collections.
