  • Learn through play - We have an indoor/outdoor play area featuring a mini pretend Circulation desk for kids to interact with.
  • Steam Kits are available for checkout.
  • We have Sensory time a time to explore everyday objects and have fun. Warning you may get messy.
  • Need a reading buddy? We have stuffed friends for you to borrow during your time at the library.
  • At our storytimes, you don't just sit and listen. You get to dance, sing, and interact with puppets.
  • We have books for children to understand their emotions and learn about diversity along with your favorites.
  • We also have books available in foreign languages such as Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese
  • Developmental stages screenings available

Policies

Here at the Young Minds Library, we are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for our young patrons. The following policies are to ensure that we are able to continue to provide services to all. 

Code of Conduct:

  • Be Kind
  • Respect boundaries
  • Listen to staff
  • Be patient
  • Clean up after yourself
  • Have Fun

Circulation Policies:

  • Max amount of 30 books per checkout for 4 weeks.
  • Renewals can be done in person, online, by phone, or by app.
  • No late fee
  • Damaged materials will be assessed. An appropriate charge up to the item replacement cost will be assigned, 

Other Services:

  • You must sign in when utilizing calm/quiet rooms, study rooms, gaming rooms, and craft/maker space room.
  • A guardian or adult over 18 must be present when rooms are in use.
  • Multi-Purpose Room reservations are on a first-come basis and are subject to a cleaning fee depending on the level of cleaning needed.
  • Class rooms reservations are on a first-come basis and are subject to cleaning fees depending on the level of cleaning needed.
