Booking a soundproof study and music room at Creative Spaces Library is easy and convenient! Simply visit our website or stop by the front desk to check availability and reserve your space. Rooms can be booked online through our reservation system, where you can select your preferred time slot and duration. Whether you’re practicing an instrument, recording, or needing a quiet space for focused study, our soundproof rooms are available for individuals or small groups. We recommend booking in advance, as these rooms are in high demand! If you need any assistance or have specific requirements, our staff is happy to help you with the booking process.

Our Instrument Loan Program allows you to borrow a variety of instruments, from guitars and keyboards to drums and string instruments, all available for checkout. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, our collection provides the opportunity to try new instruments or practice without the need for a long-term commitment.

In addition to musical instruments, we also offer a Tool Lending Program for DIY enthusiasts. Our toolkit collection includes everything from basic hand tools for crafting and woodworking to specialized equipment for building custom instruments or other creative projects. All items are available for short-term loans, and we ensure that they are well-maintained and ready for use. At Creative Spaces Library, we strive to provide a user-friendly experience with clear and fair policies to support your creative needs. Here are the key details:

Loan Periods:

• Books, Sheet Music, and Guides: Typically available for 3 weeks with the option to renew for an additional 3 weeks, provided there are no holds on the item.
• Instruments & Tools: Available for 1-week checkout with the possibility of a one-time extension if no other reservations are pending. We recommend checking availability ahead of time.
• Project Kits & Crafting Supplies: Loans are available for 7 days with no renewals, as these materials are often in high demand.

Fines & Fees:

• Overdue Fines: We charge a $0.25 per day fine for overdue books and $1 per day for overdue instruments and tools. A grace period is offered for the first 3 days, after which fines will be applied.
• Replacement Fees: If an item is lost or damaged, borrowers are required to cover the full replacement cost. Our staff will assist with assessing the value and processing the replacement.

Limits:

• Items per Card: Each patron may borrow up to 3 instruments or tools and 20 items of books and sheet music at a time. Additional items can be reserved if you have a specific project in mind.
• Room Reservations: Soundproof study and music rooms can be reserved for up to 3 hours per day. You can book up to 2 sessions per week, depending on availability.
